# Methera Roadmap

This roadmap is a clear and actionable guide to **Methera’s** development journey, designed to illustrate our strategic priorities and long-term vision. At **Methera**, we are committed to unlocking the full potential of **$METIS** through restaking and cross-chain liquid staking, all while ensuring security, scalability, and community-driven growth.

Each phase of this roadmap is carefully planned to build a robust protocol, foster meaningful partnerships, and deliver value to our community. Below, we provide a detailed step-by-step outline of **Methera’s** milestones and objectives, ensuring transparency and alignment with our mission.

• **Node Operators:** Partner with trusted node operators on the Metis Andromeda network to build a secure and reliable staking infrastructure. These partnerships are critical to supporting **Methera’s** restaking mechanism and ensuring efficient reward distribution. 

**• DeFi Protocols & Service Integrations:** Collaborate with key protocols on **Metis** to integrate **Methera’s** restaking services. This will enable protocols to enhance security and utility by utilizing restaked **$METIS**.

### 1.2 Technology & Infrastructure Setup

• **Smart Contract Development & Audits:** Develop **Methera’s** smart contracts and conduct rigorous audits with top-tier security firms to ensure safety and reliability.

## Phase 2: Liquidity Strategies

### 2.1 Liquidity Partnerships

• **Liquidity Pools:** Partner with DEXs on **Metis** to establish liquidity pools for **yMETIS**. Launch incentive programs to attract liquidity providers. 

• **DeFi Protocol Integrations:** Position **yMETIS** as a collateral asset within lending markets and other DeFi services, driving its utility and demand.

### 2.2 Security Enhancements

• **Additional Audits:** Conduct a second round of audits to refine the protocol and ensure readiness for mainnet deployment. Audit reports will be publicly shared to build trust. 

• **Bug Bounty Program:** Launch a bug bounty program to involve the wider blockchain community in identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.

## Phase 3: Mainnet Launch & Governance

• **Omnichain Staking:** Collaborate with liquid staking protocols to support staking assets across multiple chains.

• **Multi-Collateral Staking:** Introduce support for staking assets beyond **$METIS**, including tokens from other networks. 

• **Restaking Dashboard:** Launch an intuitive dashboard for users to track their assets, rewards, and staking performance.
